Pigs fly, and it has snowed two inches in Demopolis, AL. This is Sucarnochee, our snowman, named for the local creek and local NPR-aired folk music  program. And now a haiku in reveree of our once in a decade snowfall:

Snow, hibernates self
Brings out the happy true elf
At bay spring, ye knave

The beauty of the Lord is once again put on display.

I don't know if that haiku's funny or painful.
